Join us for a durational drawing performance by our artist in residence Alice Angus and dance artist Harry Theadora Foster. Unfolding over 6 hours (21600 seconds), Alice will draw Harry repeatedly as he researches the physical language of memory, revisiting his previous solo work Adam, of which Alice was a close collaborator.

Each of Alice’s drawings are timed by the length of a breath, continuing from memory when Harry leaves until memory fails her, starting again when he returns. It will yield hundreds of sketches, until drawings and paper become obstacles and physical limitations that hem their bodies in.

The performance is inspired by Feliks’ texts, sketches and self-avowed compulsive drawing, and Alice and Harry's collaborative practice in which presence, witnessing and the physical limits of drawing and dance provoke and influence each other.

The performance will be a relaxed encounter in which audiences are invited to explore the space and witness these artists in a dialogue recording itself.
